Au pair in Liechtenstein
Official Au Pair in Liechtenstein Program Information
There is no official program to be an au pair in Liechtenstein, however you can still become an au pair in Liechtenstein. See visa information below for requirements for your country of origin.
Au pair in Liechtenstein Mandatory Criteria
Au pairs from the EEA countries need only apply for a residence permit, and this needs to be applied for by your host family no later than two weeks before your arrival from the Ausländer- und Passamt.
Au pairs from all other countries must apply for a visa and then a residence permit and we recommend you contact your local Swiss embassy for further information. Ensure you have a contract in place and proof of enrolment in a language course before applying for a visa and residence permit. Once you have a visa, your host family can apply for a residence permit. The family are obliged to pay for it. This must be done no later than 4 weeks before arriving in Liechtenstein from the Ausländer- und Passamt. Refer http://www.apa.llv.li/ for more information.
